EFFECTIFF is looking for Senior Business Development Manager who will provide leadership to BD team and will be responsible for identifying and engaging clients as well as managing client relationships during the full life cycle of client campaigns. As one of the key members of the BD team, Senior BDM will participate in establishing and implementing departmental and organizational sales goals, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

As an individual contributor:

You will be responsible for independently carrying out a range of tasks, including identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities. You will be expected to develop new client relationships through cold calling, market research, referrals, networking, and attending events. You will also negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients, as well as educating them about the translation/interpretation process.

RFP Manager (remote)

Effectiff is looking for RFP Manager with expertise in Translation & Localization industry.

RFP Manager is responsible for the development and management of proposal related projects to increase the Company’s effectiveness at winning new business.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Own the entire RFP & Proposal processes
  • Analyse sources and search for RFPs that match Effectiff capabilities and goals
  • Build a robust understanding of clients’ differing needs and levels of sophistication across the team, as product-specific knowledge as needed, in order to tailor responses to the target audience Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary resources are allocated to RFP projects
  • Provide insight, leadership and work guidance to freelance RFP writers
  • Identify gaps in current RFP approach and propose new improvement ideas
  • Maintain a database of all RFP projects and their outcomes for future reference
  • Work to tight deadlines, ensuring that a 100% on-time response rate is achieved

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience in proposal writing with an established portfolio
• Bid writing experience within the Translation & Localization industry
• Strong understanding of the Federal procurement processes
• Versed in reviewing RFPs and assessing the Company’s ability to be competitive
• Ability to research and draft proposal responses
